Questions
How does the free trial work?
Request an invite and we'll send you a link to set up your garage. You get every feature for 30 days, plus £2 of message credit to try SMS updates. At the end of the trial you choose whether to subscribe.
Why is signup by invite?
We're bringing garages on a few at a time so we can help each one get set up properly. Request an invite and we'll usually be in touch within a working day.
Do I pay VAT on top?
No. All our prices include VAT, so £49 is what you pay.
Is the price per user?
No. £49 a month covers one garage, with as many owners, admins and mechanics as you need.
How do text and WhatsApp messages work?
You top up a prepaid message wallet by card from the portal. Each message is deducted as it's sent: 6p per SMS and 5p per WhatsApp message. If a message can't be delivered, it's refunded to your wallet. We'll email you when your balance is running low.
Do booking confirmation emails cost extra?
No. Booking confirmation emails are included in your subscription.
Can I use it with my existing website?
Yes. Add one line of code to your site to show your booking page, or simply link to it. It works with WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and hand-built sites.
Do I need to install anything?
No. BaySync runs in the browser, and you can install it on a phone, tablet or PC like an app if you want an icon on your home screen.
Can I export my data for my accountant?
Yes. Invoices and payments can be exported for your accountant or accounts software.
